On December 06, 2024 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference, with the theme being “Openness and Innovation for a Shared Future”, was held at Shenzhen World Exhibition&Convention Center (Futian).
It is the sixth year in a row for Shenzhen to hold the global investment promotion conference. The conference was hosted by The People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, and co-organized by Shenzhen Investment Promotion Bureau, News Office of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, and Futian District People’s Government of Shenzhen.
2024 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference showed the social and economic high-quality development of Shenzhen, introduced the world-class business environment of the city, and exhibited the achievements that the city and various districts of the city had made in investment promotion.
A series of relevant events took place, at the conference. Specially, it also set up “Investment-Promotion Corridor” and had an exhibition of Shenzhen’s local brands. The “Investment-Promotion Corridor” mainly showed the achievements of the various districts in investment promotion, while the exhibition of Shenzhen’s local brands helped introduce over 40 local brands of Shenzhen, including HUAWEI, BYD, Honor, DJI, UBTECH, DOBOT, Insta 360, FIYTA.
Over 700 enterprises and organizations from 35 nations and regions chose to attend the conference, including over 200 Fortune-500 enterprises and cross-border enterprises.
The Conference made a great deal. Over 400 agreements worth over 900 billion yuan, were negotiated and signed, covering various sectors like new energy, new-generation electronic information, low-altitude economy and aerospace, intelligent connected vehicle(ICV), biomedicine and medical apparatus.
So did Longgang District of Shenzhen. Longgang District, at 2024 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference, reached about 40 agreements, with the total investment projected to be 89.4 billion yuan. The agreements involved numerous cutting-edge sectors, including AI, ICV.
Besides, Longgang District, characterized by the world top-3 industrial cluster of electronic information, organized the investment-promotion events oriented towards new-generation electronic information industry and introduced a route for the industrial investigation, showcasing Longgang District’s economic viability, innovation capacity, investment value, as well as gaining popularity among investors.
