Shenzhen’s CPI saw a year-on-year increase of 0.1% in 2024

According to the data released by Survey Office of National Bureau of Statistics in Shenzhen on Jan. 13, the CPI (Consumer Price Index) of Shenzhen surged by 0.1% in Dec. 2024, on the month-to-month and year-on-year bases. The core CPI (exempting the prices of foods and energy) of the period increased by 0.3% year on year, with the increase expanding by 0.2% as compared with that of last month.

Generally in 2024, Shenzhen’s CPI of the whole year saw an increase of 0.1% as compared with that of 2023.
