As released by Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, the gross output of industrial enterprises above designated size (the yearly revenue of whose main businesses being above 20 billion yuan) in Shenzhen is estimated to be over 5 trillion yuan in 2024, while the industrial added value is estimated to surpass 1.2 trillion yuan.
The added value of Shenzhen’s strategic and emerging industries in 2024 is estimated to be over 1.5 trillion yuan, approximately 45% of the city’s GDP. Emerging industries, such as intelligent connected and new-energy vehicle industry, artificial intelligence (AI) industry, low-altitude industry, prospered.
