According to the calculation of Shenzhen’s GDP, Longgang District of Shenzhen recorded a GDP of 590.127 billion yuan in the year of 2024, which increased by 6.7% as compared with the previous year on the fixed-price basis.
Specifically, the added value of the district’s industrial enterprises above designated size (each of whom gets the yearly revenue of the main businesses above 20 million yuan) surged by 9.4% year on year.
The added value of the district’s primary industry (agriculture, forestry, husbandry and fishing) decreased by 12.5% year on year to 125 million yuan. The added value of the district’s secondary industry (mining, manufacturing, electric power, construction and other industries alike) increased by 7.8% year on year to 378.927 billion yuan. The added value of the district’s tertiary industry (the industries otherwise primary or secondary industry) increased by 4.7% year on year to 211.074 billion yuan.
