At the County-level Industrial Economy Development Forum 2024 happened previously, the List of “China Top-100 Industrial Districts” of 2024 was released, in which Longgang District was placed in the first place. And, Longgang District has been the top in the List of the kind for consecutive seven years in a row.
As shown by related data, Longgang District boasts over 520,000 enterprises in total, including HUAWEI and BYD each of 100 billion yuan’s worth, 4 enterprises of 10 billion yuan’s worth, 8 national-level manufacturing enterprises leading certain branch of the industry, 111 national specialized and sophisticated “little-giant” enterprises, and 2,458 industrial enterprises each with the yearly business revenue above 20 million yuan. Longgang District is the one in Shenzhen that has the largest quantity of enterprises. During the first three quarters of 2024, Longgang District generated the GDP of over 374.485 billion yuan, up 7.2% as compared with last year. The added value of the industrial enterprises whose yearly business revenue surpasses 20 million yuan, saw a year-on-year increase of 11.5% during the same period.
