On Dec. 25, 2024 National High-quality Development Conference of Agricultural Industry took place in Longgang District of Shenzhen.
The conference focused on the theme “Boosting Agricultural Industry through Science and Technology to Build up Agricultural Strength”. Government authorities, business representatives, scholars and specialists from all over the nation were invited to take part in the conference, building a platform for resource sharing and cooperation promotion and contributing to the high-quality development of agricultural industry. Representatives of CACC, related government authorities, involved enterprises and the like gave their speeches at the conference, sharing their experiences and making their proposals around a series of agriculture-related topics.
At the conference, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Industrial Development Base of CACC was inaugurated. The base is established under the joint efforts of CACC and The People’s Government of Longgang District. Relying on the pool of businesses and projects owned by CACC and the advantages of Shenzhen in the sectors like science, technology, market, talent, the base would strive to attract and incubate excellent projects, setting a good example for the cultivation of new-quality productive forces.
During the term of the conference, Inauguration Ceremony of China’s First Batch of 3A-Credit Agricultural Enterprises occurred, during which about 10 enterprises were credited with 3A.
What’s worth mentioning especially, CACC and The People’s Government of Longgang District signed Memorandum of Understanding around the cooperation in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Industrial Development Base. The two parties would commonly build a mechanism for headquarters development of modern agricultural enterprises in Shenzhen, giving a full play to the role of CACC in investment attraction and attracting more prime agricultural enterprises to get located in Longgang District, to fast make the district a fertile land for the growth of agricultural and related industries. Besides, a wide range of cooperation was signed around the establishment of agricultural-industry headquarters base, cross-border e-commerce, global trade, selection and breeding of new crops, biological breeding, and the like.
During the mean time, Freshippo and many other enterprises displayed their excellent products and shared their channels at 2024 National Investment Promotion Conference of Agricultural Industry, bringing more cooperation opportunities to Shenzhen’s agricultural industry and further improving the influence. And, a series of parallel events like the above took place during the conference.
