National Day is just around the corner, together with a 7-day holiday. The National Day holiday is always a hot tourism season in China.
Toady, the “Electric Map of Shenzhen ‘City Walk’ Routes” is launched. The Shenzhen ‘City Walk’ Routes are five travelling routes in Shenzhen, each characterized by a certain theme. And, each route consists of ten stops. Through the Electric Map, users could get detailed information and relative travelling guide about the 5 routes.
It’s introduced that starting from March 20, a 20-day online event was host by the Cyberspace Administration Office of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of CPC and Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and undertaken by Shenzhen Evening News Press, to select the hot tourism sites in Shenzhen. Through the over 12.81 million votes cast by over 11.22 million netizens and the relative specialists’ appraisal , 50 hottest tourism sites were chosen for the 5 themed routes.

“Glamorous City” Route
Lianhua Hill and Shenzhen Civil Center → Ping An International Finance Centre CBD → Shenzhen Festival Avenue → Civil Study Room → “Two New Cultural Centers” of Shenzhen (New Shenzhen Art Museum and Shenzhen Library -- North Branch) → Window of the World → OCT Harbor → China Resources Tower (nicknamed “Bamboo Shoot”) → Sea World → OH Bay
“Mountain - River” Route
Shenzhen Dapeng Peninsula International Geological Park → Xi Chong Coastal Tourism Resort → Shenzhen Observatory → the Seaside Walkway along Daxiao Meisha → Wutong Mountain Scenic Area → Shenzhen Futian Mangrove Ecological Park → the Cluster of the “Five Parks” (including Meilinshan Park, Yinhushan Park, Bijiashan Park, Central Park, Lianhua Hill Park) → Tanglang Mountain - Dasha River - Shenzhen Bay Corridor → Shenzhen Talent Park → West Coast Sightseeing Belt

“City Exploration” Route
Dapeng Ancient Town → Baguang Silver Leaf Tree Wetland Park → Dawan Shiju (Hakka enclosed residence) → Shenzhen Dongmen Old Street → Fishermen Village → Shenzhen Museum → the Great Rescue Memorial Hall of Chinese Cultural Celebrities → Guanlan Ancient Site → Fenghuang Ancient Village → Nantou Ancient Town
“City Wandering” Route
Hongqiao Park → Shenzhen Futian Seaside Ecological and Sports Park → Xiangmi Park → Shenzhen Women’s and Children’s Building → Mountaintop Restroom in Lianhua Hill Park → Lichi Park → Dafen Oil Painting Village → Longgang Children’s Park → Jiaochangwei → Zhongying Street
Dafen Oil Painting Village and Longgang Children’s Park, recommended as two stops of the above routes, are both located in Longgang District of Shenzhen.
